What Ontario wines are in the 2007 wine awards?
The Ontario 2007 wine awards drew 355 entries from a record 57 wineries in 24 categories,
all assessed by four panels of professional tasters in a blind evaluation.
What other awards are given out to the Ontario wine industry?
The other awards are:
- Winemaker of the Year, 2007, Paul M. Bosc, Château des Charmes
- Wine of the Year, Maleta Estate 2002 First Frost Last Grape American Oak-Aged Vidal Icewine
- Sommelier of the Year, Lindsay Groves
- Wine Journalism Award, Rod Phillips
- Best Label Design

How does a wine get picked to be part of the 2007 Ontario Wine Awards?
Wines don't get picked a wine maker would have to submit their wine to be part of the Awards.

How many awards will be given out at the 2007 Ontario Wine Awards?
With 24 categories and three medals in each category there will be 72 awards given out.
Can I vote for my favorite Ontario wine?
Not officially but I by this time next year my site will have a voting system to vote for
the 'people' championship of Ontario wine.
