Le Clos Jordanne’s2005 Claystone Terrace top prize at a tasting at the Montreal restaurant La Colombe. The Ontario wine was a ‘pirate wine’ in a tasting where the judges expected to only taste California and French wines.
Most of the judges thought the 2005 Claystone Terrace chardonnay was a french wine.

It’s very curious (and suspicious) to me that the entire line-up of wines tasted hasn’t been released. I’ve seen a couple of wines mentioned, but why the cloak of secrecy I wonder.
Ken, I am very curious as well. My guess is all the wines are listed in the magazine and with a story like this they will sell alot more copies.
